Roman Day

On Tuesday we had Roman Day this is the boys and girls in their Roman Costumes we did lots of Roman things during the day my Favorite was doing the play that Room 3's teacher made.

The Donkey Parade.

Last Friday we had a Donkey Parade we started by singing and then we went outside to see Brianna/St Mary's student ride the donkey.
We liked the donkey parade alot.

High Five Shark

Today we saw a cool photo of a shark in the Herald.  Here is the writing we did about the picture

Our day with Ruru.

On Wednesday the 21 of March we learnt about  road safety with Ruru the Road Safety Owl.
He taught about the signs around Rotorua and what they mean for example he taught us the round about sign and the traffic light sign.

We also meet some friends along the visit who had run on the road and guess what happened to them they got hit by a car!

There was also this man who had his seat belt off and his car slipped off the bank and he was very badly hurt and was very lucky to be alive.

So what the hole point about Ruru's visit was always wear your seat belt and keep safe when your near the road.

Athletics day:
Fun or boring?
Actually it was AMAZING!!! We had a amazing day filled with fun because we had all kinds of activities like high jump, relay races, long jump, shot put and best of all tabloids.
We think that MACKILLOP and POMPALLIER are the best houses ever but we also think the other houses are COOL.
WE ALL HAD LOADS OF FUN BECAUSE WE DIDN'T PUT OUR MINDS TO WINNING BUT WE PUT OUR MINDS TO HAVING FUN AND WE THINK THAT THAT'S WHY WE WON LOTS OF THINGS.

on friday we had swiming sports and we had to race for our house groups the house groups are when the school gets into groups and have fun.We got 1st in some of our races.
